About Palace Cottage

A detached, stone-built, 19th-century cottage, hidden away
in a secluded hollow, high in the Shropshire hills. It
sits in its own private garden surrounded by fields and
woodland, which are a haven for wildlife and birds. The
peaceful, south-facing terrace is a suntrap with stunning
views, and has garden furniture and barbecue.
The cottage has been tastefully restored to preserve its
original character, and has an inglenook and woodburning
stove, and there are flagstone floors and oak beams
throughout.
There are lovely walks from the cottage door. Although
located well off the beaten track, away from roads, it is
only ten miles from medieval Ludlow, and within an
easy drive of Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle, Clun and
Ironbridge. See below for recommended towns and attractions near Palace Cottage.
