About Virginia Cottage

Prime location with Lake Windermere only 150 yards away. Some rooms have views over the surrounding fells and the village Set right in the heart of Bowness on Windermere village we specialise in relaxed accommodation mainly for couples wishing to take advantage of our perfect location for the Lake and boats, shops, restaurants, attractions and pubs.Then relax and unwind in the evening either splashing about at parklands country club (swimming pool,jacuzzi,sauna etc)free to all our guests or sample some of the fine cuisine on offer in the many restaurants. Later try one or even two of the quaint pubs around and about in bowness. For an intimate evening in we have now built a cinema room to enjoy your very own viewing of films from TV or dvd on the big screen ( yes we even can provide the popcorn )
