About Chittlehamholt
Chittlehamholt is a lovely peaceful village lying in unspoilt countryside close to the River Taw. It has a shop, post office and pub which serves excellent meals and has a variety of ales, wines and soft drinks.
The village is surrounded by rolling fields and woodland with many wildlife habitats giving a haven to Badger, Foxes, Buzzard, Hawkes and all sorts of birds.

The area has plenty of attractions for family days out, these include historic houses, gardens and farm-parks. There is the opportunity for fishing and golf, and for anyone looking for bigger and better shopping facilities, Barnstaple has a full range of shops including major retail stores.
