Family run holiday cottages in a rural hamlet within the Lake District National Park. Exceptionally clean quality eco-friendly self-catering holiday accommodation in the rural hamlet of Redmain, two miles from Cockermouth, Cumbria.
The Hayloft is converted from a 17thC stone barn and has lofted ceilings and exposed stone walls. It is exceptionally clean and warm and bed linen is 100% cotton with duvets. The Hayloft has a king-size bed and all expected modern kitchen appliances as befits 4 Star Accommodation and also has 4 Star Fittings. Plenty of books, games and things for the children.
The Hayloft is equipped with fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, colour TV, Freeview, DVD/CD player, radio, electric and heating included, linen, blankets, duvets, towels and power shower over the bath. Sleeps two people plus baby. There is a high chair and travel cot available for an extra £5.00P each.
Please note that 5 and 6 night short breaks are priced the same as a week so please book a complete week.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required when booking. The outstanding balance to be paid four weeks prior to arrival. A receipt will be sent confirming your booking.
There is a three acre wildlife garden to enjoy, including meadows walks, garden furniture, picnic tables, barbecues, wildlife pond, herb garden and potager, meditation garden, and bog garden.
Broadband 24/7 internet access cable (Cat 5 Network) and Wifi wireless access point for connection to your own computer equipment is available free and is now unlimited so guests can stream television and music.
Both cottages are for Non-Smokers only.
Please note that we request dog owners to agree to the following booking conditions as we have had some problems with dog owners and we charge an extra £15 per dog per stay which has been added to the price below.
1. The dog is not allowed on any furniture, beds or in the bedrooms due to some of our clients having asthma.
2. The dog is not left on its own in the cottage and stays with the owner at all times.
3. The dog is not allowed to foul in the gardens and if it does you will 'scoop the poop'.
4. The dog must be on a lead around the cottages at all times. There is a two-acre field at the top of the garden where you can run the dog off the lead.
5. We accept one large breed of dog or two small breed dogs. Please notify us your dog’s breed when booking.
