About Farnley Tower

Providing stunning views over Durham Cathedral and Castle, as well as the surrounding Durham countryside, this hotel combines Victorian era detail with modern facilities. With free on-site parking and the city centre, with its numerous shops and restaurants, being only a short walk away, you could easily leave your car here and explore this lovely city on foot. The train station is also close by, but if you are planning to go on foot from there to Farnley Tower, there is a slight hill to walk up. Our single occupancy rates for double rooms are very popular with our sole business travellers and the quiet location and free Wi-Fi internet access mean that you can get on with some work. We aim to provide a haven in which to relax and will do our very best to cater to your individual needs.
