Reputed to be one of Englands most attractive Counties, County Durham has much to offer the discerning traveller, from Medieval Castles of interest, beautiful landscapes perfect for scenic walks, and last but by no means least the City of Durham where you will find both Durham Castle and Durham Cathedral a World Heritage site.
