Yes it is. You can still see the original width of the wartime runway compared to the narrower modern runway.

I was specifically after the castle as it is one of my favourite places to visit in Kent. Taking pictures from the aeroplane is always a bit hit and miss as I am trying to fly the aeroplane and keep a good lookout at the same time!
