U-Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire (strange name for such a beautiful place).  It was one of the filming locations for the TV series based on Dickens' Our Mutual Friend.

I am just going to foll a gap, it seems "S" slipped past so here is the "S" entry

                  St. Mawes, Cornwall-------   1963 film " Crooks in Cloisters" with Barbara Windsor. Also " Murder Ahoy" with Margaret Rutherford.
