Three Major Fires in South Oxfordshire

Three major fires in South Oxfordshire, thought to be arson attack are currently ongoing.

SODC Offices completely destroyed, Funeral Parlour and one other.

It's being reported that a vehicle was driven into the Council Building loaded with Gas Canisters!!

The other 'thatched' building targeted was in a Village called 'Rokemarsh' apparently.

Local Newspaper the Oxford Mail is covering it and apparently witnessed somebody in the act of arson.

Thames Valley Police are reported to have arrested a 47 year old man in connection with the arson attacks.

Latest report says it it not a terrorist related act...

Probably some builder who had his Planning Application turned down by SODC. lol

We'll that's something Ron. I remember years ago a farmer in the village had his planning permission turned down by Calderdale Council. He filled his muck spreader full of slurry and ran amock through the whole area for miles. Not quite as serious as fire but you can imagine the smell and the mess.

Sure done a lot of damage though and until a few weeks ago my nephews partner was sat at the reception desk where the car was driven in!

Lucky escape then Ron. Let's wait and see what the reason is for all this mayhem and damage. You can bet it will be something most of us could have dealt with without resorting to this kind of action.
