   I did have a go at the Amateur Photographer 130 year anniversary competition last year, prize   Leica M ( type 240 )    a £6,400  bit of kit - my luck , of course not. A lucky chap in Birmingham was the lucky winner.

          I like the ethos of the Leica, just basic but superb build and great quality. Can't even contemplate any of the lower ranks - still a dream . The X-vario appeals but not for us mortals that is for sure.
