In the North-West of England lies the County of Merseyside. Rich in fascinating history and boasting two Cathedrals, Merseyside has a wealth of interesting places to visit such as, the city of Liverpool, where you can explore the many wonderful attractions at the famous Albert Dock complex situated on the banks of the River Mersey including, 'The Beatles Story' re-living the Fab Four's meteoric rise to fame, 'The Merseyside Maritime Museum', telling the story of one of the world's greatest ports, 'Bluecoat Arts Centre', a Grade 1 listed building with an award-winning art gallery and offering not only Performance art, Music, Gallery and Literature but much more. Other nearby attractions include, 'Lady Lever Art Gallery' set in the pictuesque garden village of Port Sunlight, dating back to 1922 and famous for its gallery of British 18th and 19th century paintings.
