Anybody going on holiday this year?

With the economic climate as it is, will the Brits among us be going away this year, and if so where to? Abroad, or staying in beautiful England.

We won't be going anywhere (as usual) but thats because of health problems as much as anything.

If you are planning time away, don't forget to book securely online with POE to save £££££'s. Here is the link to get started http://www.picturesofengland.com/hotels/

England in May if I have enough Frequent Flyer miles to get a free ticket.

This will be my first visit home since my 'Dad' died.  I have been hesitant. It will be different. A little sad.

Yeah it's nice up there. We've stayed at Beednell once ot twice and would well recommend the village. Couple of decent pubs ( a few years ago anyway!!!) and a right on the coast so nice bracing walks on the beach at your doorstep

I've been organizing pictures on my computer and noticed a whole bunch that I thought might be appreciated on POE.

I'll be there in May.

I found some great properties through the link Sue, and booked one for our holiday,  it couldn't have been easier...it so good because you have direct contact with the owner and don't have to go through an agency. Result, you do save £££££££'s,

For POE to benefit you need to book your accommodation via the POE Site, not through an advert, or somebody else's submitted picture that might have been placed on POE.

Just so that it's clear members, when ready you can get started here...
