My husband is going to the local Labor Day Weekend faie. Too much walking for me.

My odest son is working, and my youngest is off school.

I'm back in the kitchen now I can stand on my foot a little more, so we'll have some real dinners for a change.

Thanks, everybody.  ("Labour" would be a political party day, Lyn, LOL). A lot of people just kick back and do something fun on Labor Day,  And if you're out in the rat race all week, sometimes the nicest times are just staying home and relaxing.  I might even get to have some real time conversations with y'all on Monday.

LOL @ Wolf!  In short, Labor Day originated in 1882 as the Central Labor Union (of New York City) sought to create "a day off for the working class citizens.
