Hi Ruth, glad you had no trouble from the storm. My brother lives in Chandler. Are you near there?

Hi Cathy:  Chandler is right next to Tempe, about 20 miles from me, just on the other side of Phoenix.  That's very cool, Cathy.  If you ever come out to visit him, please contact me and maybe we can get together for a meal or something.  Small world!

Glad the worst of the storm passed you by.

And that is a lovely avatar Ruth.

Looks like Lyn and I are going for the beach look.

Thanks for the comments about the avatar, gals (and Peter Kiss).  We seem to look best in our vacation pics, don't we?  I wonder why - lol!  I was near a beach in this one - Rosarito, Baja California in Old Mexico.  But it was November, so we weren't there for the sun and surf.

You're not so bad yourself, Andy - quite handsome, actually.  Much better than the horse.  Hope you are well and not working too hard, mate.

Having just typed the sentence above, I just wondered, because I haven't seen it done here, but it is it acceptable for a woman to call a fella "mate?"  I have committed a few cultural faux pas's here in the past you know.  lol

I know Mrs. T's in the thread, Denzil, so I'm whispering - you're the most gorgeous one in the whole forum, I think.  Embarassed  XOXO

Thanks everybody for your kind thoughts.  Another 2 or 3 weeks and our monsoon season will be over, then we might not have rain again til November or December.

Yeah, but I found out today that feeling good makes it very easy to overdo it.

I'm hoping the good Doctor gives me leave to go swimming this week, I am in desperate need of some exercise.

Swimming should be very good Sue, the water takes the weight of your body.
