All those pictures of trains reminded me of my working for British Rail as a signalman in the mid sixties. I have aged quite a bit since, and not for the better.
This is me working the Signal Cabin at Crystal Palace, South London, one of the old manual signal boxes.
Picture quality not so good, it was along time ago.
