In the heart of rural Wiltshire, a few minutes away from the ancient mounds and henge's of Salisbury Plain, close to the spires of Salisbury & Winchester, and an hour from beautiful Georgian Bath, lies The Angel at Hindon. A beautifully-restored eighteenth century coaching inn, The Angel was originally known as the Grosvenor Arms. Prior to its construction in 1750 a medieval inn, The Angel, existed on the site with the restoration of the building came the restoration of the name! Offering many original features, wooden floors, beams, huge stone fireplaces, and comfy leather chairs, alongside our very contemporary and elegant brasserie, The Angel has a mood for everyone, whether traditional or modern. Our service is second-to-none attentive, friendly, personal and professional. So, if you would like a hand-pulled local real ale in genuine tradition or a fine dining experience in a stylish brasserie, please come and say hello!Please note that no food is served on sunday evenings and the hotel is closed between 3 and 5 pm(therefore check in is before or after these times)
