Description

Heptonstall Churchyard

This Churchyard is shared by two Churches: St Thomas the Apostle and the ruins of the Church of St Thomas a Becket which was abandoned after it was badly damaged by a gale in 1847. The poet Sylvia Plath is buried in this Churchyard.
