About The Vermont Hotel

The Vermont is Newcastle's only 4-star independent hotel. Located next to the Castle, overlooking the Cathedral and the Tyne and Millennium Bridges. This impressive 12 storey, Manhattan Style tower boasts an unrivalled city centre position; a short walk to the main shopping centre, theatres, galleries, universities and main railway station. It has direct access to the Quayside and on site complimentary car parking. The Vermont Hotel offers the latest wireless technology to enable you to tap in to a total communications network, wherever you are in the hotel. Our secure high-speed Internet access has speeds of up to 2Mb a second. The 101 bedrooms and suites are a combination of classical and modern design with 24-hour service expected from a luxury hotel. Seven luxuriously appointed meeting rooms are available for special business occasions and private dining. The Bridge Restaurant is located at the Castle Garth level with spectacular views of the Tyne Bridge, alternatively there is the Redwood Bar, with its fireplace and sofas, open until very late.
