About Jesmond Hotel
The Jesmond is a medium sized hotel with a great reputation, located just outside the city centre. The hotel is renowned for the warmth of its welcome, the friendliness of its staff and the level of its efficiency. With us you will find a small, friendly atmosphere. Please ask if there is anything else we can help with. All our rooms are en suite with tea and coffee facilities and a TV. We also have a small restaurant with an a la carte menu. Vegetarians are also well catered for. Newcastle football ground is only 20 minutes walk away, should your stay include football. In addition, Jesmond has a lovely park (Jesmond Dene), which is described as a 'countryside setting in the heart of a city'. Just a short walk from the hotel there is a sanctuary for small birds and small animals, or you can enjoy pleasant walks alongside the Ouseburn River. Other popular attractions we recommend are the Laing Art Gallery, the Discovery Museum and the Life Centre, all within the city centre. The nightlife can be found just along Osborne Road and down the Quayside, which is also a popular place for food and drink.
