Description

The High Light

The High Light, North Shields, Tyne and Wear. 10/3/11 The High Light is the white building on the left, built in 1810 to replace the Old High Beacon which was built to guide vessels up the Tyne. A few hundred yards east is the Low Light which stands at the Fish Quay.
