Borough Arms Hotel26 King Street, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire, EnglandAbout Borough Arms HotelYou can be assured of a warm welcome, impeccable service and the highest degree of comfort. Conveniently situated on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme. The Borough Arms Hotel and Restaurant is one of the oldest established hotels in the Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Stoke-On-Trent areas, with history dating back to 1783. The hotel is very much of the style associated with a traditional English town centre coaching inn, yet has been sensitively and subtly refined to offer the comfort and modern standards demanded by today's visitors. Independently owned and managed, the hotel retains many period features and takes great pride in offering a very personal service. As a valued guest, you may be confident that we will do our utmost to ensure your comfort, whether you are staying in one of our 40 centrally heated, ensuite rooms, visiting us for a meal in the restaurant, or using our conference and banqueting facilities. You may wish to see our online wedding brochure, which provides more information about Civil Ceremonies and wedding receptions. Close to the centre of the historic borough of Newcastle, the hotel is convenient for both business and leisure visits to many local attractions, including Alton Towers, the English Peak District, the Staffordshire Potteries, Stoke on Trent, the Staffordshire Moorlands, Cheshire and Derbyshire. Within close walking distance is the superb New Victoria Theatre (with performances in the round). The Hanley Cultural quarter, where you can enjoy plays, concerts and other entertainment at The Royal theatre, the Victoria Hall and the newly restored Regent theatre are just a few minutes from the hotel by car, taxi or bus. Further high quality leisure facilities, including cinemas and bowling, are available at the nearby Festival Park.
