Situated on one of the loveliest reaches of the River Thames, between Oxford and Henley. With our fully refurbished ground floor, Shillingford is the ideal place to relax. Part of the Forestdale Hotel Group. Enjoying a quarter mile stretch of river frontage, the hotel naturally offers many water pursuits, excellent coarse fishing, the hire of river craft from local boatyards and private moorings, while golf enthusiasts have the choice of six clubs within a ten mile radius. The hotel's restaurant enjoys a glorious view of the river. We also offer a brand new Conference Centre/Function Suite and an upgrade on the Sky channels available in our rooms and bar. If you can be persuaded to leave this idyllic setting, there are numerous places to visit including the old market town of Wallingford, the Regatta town of Henley, the university city of Oxford and Windsor with its Castle and Royal connections provide endless possibilities for sightseeing, shopping or simply relaxing. The hotel will be refurbishing all of the ground floor areas in March.
