About Westwood Country Hotel Ltd

Just four miles from the centre of the famous City of Dreaming Spires, surrounded by 400 acres of woodland and gardens. This dream has now been fulfilled and the hotel provides a relaxing blend of elegance and warmth to all of our guests. Built in 1910 as a charming Edwardian gentlemans residence, the hotel offers a true haven of tranquillity and a relaxed Country House atmosphere. Many of the 21 bedrooms have been recently refurbished, each individually styled to provide maximum comfort and convenience during your stay. With different shapes and sizes to suit all requirements, the rooms all benefit from en-suite bath and/or shower rooms, televisions, telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and fluffy cotton towels. Many rooms enjoy fabulous views over the gardens and woods, adding to the Country House atmosphere. We are fully licensed and guests are welcome to join us for a drink at the bar or on the terrace or dine with us in the restaurant. Alternatively, we can serve meals and snacks in your room (a charge of 5.00 may be applied).
