About Cheviot Cottage

A range of both modern and traditional self catering cottages, a 5 minute drive from Caistron Lake, fishing or boating.
The cottages are an ideal base for hill walkers and mountain bikers, with mile upon mile of marked paths and walks, with the most challenging routes in the uk. We can provide the storage for your bikes. For keen horse riders there are also schools around the area with local treks for learners or beach and country treks for the more experienced riders.
For bird lovers there are no end of species to be seen, including martingales, woodpeckers and birds of prey.
There are traditional English pubs within 5 minutes and a takeaway service is now available.
Each cottage has its own garden equipped with garden furniture
The cottages are ideal, whether you like to relax and get away or to use as a base for any amazing adventure
