About Crown Hotel

The country market town of Brackley is the delightful setting for this 13th Century coaching inn. When you stay with us, you will step back in time. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the county town of Brackley and overlooks the market square & historic town hall. The hotel's excellent location is ideal if you are travelling on business or touring Northamptonshire for pleasure. From the hotel, you are within easy reach of the m40 motorway and just a short drive away from Banbury, Buckingham, Oxford and Northampton. The Crown's comfortable surroundings offer a cosy retreat after a long day's travelling, coupled with good, old fashioned hospitality. The hotel provides 19 charming bedrooms, which have been carefully and comfortably furnished in order to retain the 'old world' character of this lovely building. For a family holiday, we can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children in our spacious interconnecting rooms. Enjoy a relaxing drink in the informal atmosphere of the Tavern Bar, which offers you real ales and a wide range of bar snacks. Dining in the restaurant at The Crown provides a relaxing setting in which to enjoy the best traditional cuisine. To accompany your meal choose a bottle of wine from the excellent selection featured on the wine list. The Grafton Room with natural daylight is well suited for meetings, functions and weddings: For theatre-style meetings and private functions, we can accommodate up to 130 people. For wedding receptions, we can accommodate up to 100 guests. In addition, the Grafton Room can also be divided into two rooms accommodating 70 and 40 people respectively (if you require the use of audio visual equipment, we will be pleased to organise this for you). Local attractions include: Sulgrave Manor. Althorp Park. Stowe Gardens and Park. Silverstone racing circuit. Towcester Racecourse. Warwick Castle. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.
