Situated on Skeldergate, the ancient Roman waterfront leads from the city walls across the river to the historic city. The convenient location, combined with the hotels scenic setting is ideal for exploring York and the surrounding area. The railway station and all major attractions are within easy walking distance. A full range of facilities include guest parking, a restaurant serving English cooking, a bar with lounge area and a health and fitness centre with counter current fitness pool (booking required), sauna and cardiovascular equipment (limited availability to children under 16 years old).
