About Talbot House
Situated on the High Street, this guest house has been restored and upgraded in keeping with its original character. Double en suite rooms with showers, an en suite Twin and a Family Room that can sleep 3 people. All rooms have colour television, tea making facilities and clock radios. Guests can browse a wide selection of books and enjoy fairtrade cappuccino. Proprietor Stephen Boyden turned a dream of owning a business in the Yorkshire Dales into reality when he took over one of Pateley Bridge's oldest listed buildings in 2002. He renamed it Talbot House and has been restoring and refurbishing it ever since. Stephen's career spans working for Grand Metropolitan Hotels in the South and running a wine bar in the City of London. More recently he spent three years with Borders Books and Music where he indulged his love of good literature.
