This is a pleasant Lincolnshire village lying in the spacious countryside bordering the River Witham. It was originally mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086.
Visitors will note the picturesque historic church dedicated to St. Peter, and the host of charming properties.
The village makes a good location for exploring the Witham valley and for visiting Woolsthorpe Manor, the nearby house, once the home of Sir Isaac Newton.
