This was taken in July 2006. I was fairly breathless at seeing the birthplace of that mysterious great grandfather who, in his late twenties, decided to leave Lincolnshire and environs and strike out for the United States. It took me many years of dealing with stumbling blocks and red herrings to finally find my Horton roots. I can rest easily now.
