About Welcome Lodge Charnock Richard

If it's a good night's sleep you're after, then check-in to the Charnock Lodge Hotel for free parking and Sky TV. Conveniently located with great service and ample facilities, AA approved rooms have a trouser press and hot drinks tray. Welcome Lodge Charnock Richard. Known to locals as the Gateway to the North. An ideal rest stop for customers travelling to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland. We have currently installed new 21 inch TVs with all 5 terrestrial channels along with Sky One, Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Sky News. Pay movies are available as well. The Lodge offers a fully licensed restaurant and bar (one of only 2 Welcome Lodges that are licensed). The bar is open 7 days a week and the restaurant every day except Sunday. The Lodge offers a hot full English breakfast served until 10:00 each morning. This Lodge is one of the older hotels of the group, providing excellent value for money and service that is 2nd to none. The 24 hour reception gives you a warm welcome with plenty of information available about the local areas and attractions. The evening restaurant serves home-cooked meals and bar snacks along with steaks, scampi and toasted sandwiches. We offer a wide range of fresh ground coffee and the bar is open each evening from 18:00. There is free parking for all residents, a comfortable lounge area and outdoor piazza for you to enjoy a coffee or a beer. The Lodge is adjacent to Camelot theme park and you can purchase discount tickets from reception. Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 minute drive away. Southport, Bottany Bay, Wigan Pier and Lancaster are also a short journey away. Manchester is 30 miles away and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about 25 minutes by car. Local towns include Chorley, Wigan, Leyland and Preston City. The Lodge is AA approved and pet friendly. There is plenty of parking for both caravan and coach.
