Furnishings are restrained, echoing the period and style of the house. The rooms all have extraordinary views over the grounds and the beautiful countryside surrounding the Court. Guests have the exclusive use of a private sitting room overlooking the gardens. They are also welcome to use the library and the other principal rooms of the house. Pre-dinner drinks will be offered by the owners, Ben and Mimi Chester-Master, in the elegant Library. Dinner itself will be served in the Round Room, designed by Robert Adam with its exquisite hand-painted wallpaper, lit by soft candlelight. The cuisine at Moccas emphasises quality, reflects the seasons, and is executed in a classical but unpretentious style; home- grown vegetables, local venison and game, lamb and beef, and when available wild sea trout or salmon. Where possible, menus result from prior interaction with guests and their tastes. Situated as it is in an area of extraordinary natural beauty, and so close to the Brecon Beacons National Park, guests will never be short of things to do. Equally, Moccas is a great place to relax and unwind for those that are feeling less energetic. Nowhere is more conducive to a rewarding stay and a good night's sleep.
