Peaceful, detached cottage in the quiet hamlet of Fforddlas, near Llanigon in the foothills of the Black Mountains. Only 3 miles from the delightful market town of Hay-on-Wye, renowned for its second-hand books. Truly spectactular views from garden across the Wye Valley to the Brecon Beacons, many activities close by including canoeing, sailing, cycling and pony-trekking. Ideal location for walkers in both Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons and for excursions further into Wales and Herefordshire. Suits families or couples equally, dogs welcome too.
This property offers:- downstairs, the main bedroom with kingsize bed, oak beam and open fire, a parlour with open fire, well-equiped kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs features a large friendly sitting room with open fire and family bedroom with three single beds. Outside there is private parking and a delightful private garden with patio area and fabulous views over farmland to the Brecon Beacons. Linen included. Wifi Acess available on request.
