Albert Memorial, detail of architect's frieze

In this corner, the architect of the Albert Memorial (Scott) is shown in low relief behind the statue of Pugin. Apparently Pugin was overlooked in the original design and in order to accomodate the statue of Pugin, Scott is less prominently depicted.
