Within earshot of the cascading millstream of Blockley’s former silk mill, this Grade II listed cottage is in a peaceful secluded location yet easy stroll to two inns, a restaurant and village shop and coffee shop. Retaining character and charm, it has a welcoming ground floor kitchen-diner with separate cloakroom/wc. There are two further floors above the ground floor.
The delightful first-floor sitting room has twin window-seats overlooking the garden and grounds. The particularly attractive second-floor bedroom has exposed beams, apex ceiling, dormer window and en-suite bathroom. 3½ miles from Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh (rail Paddington), Apple Tree Cottage makes a wonderful base to explore the Cotswolds or enjoy relaxing countryside walks.
