About Chastleton House

One of England's finest Jacobean manor houses, occupied by the same family from its construction in 1607 until 1991 when it passed into the care of the National Trust. Since then it has been sensitively repaired and conserved with the aim of preserving its antique charm. The house contains the family's collection of furniture, portraits and original tapestries.
