About The Salty Monk

Dating back to the 16th century, The Salty Monk is set in a beautiful area of Devon. Its restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, and there is a mini spa with a hot tub and sauna. Elegant in style, each room has a flat-screen TV, facilities for making tea and coffee, and their own bathroom with free toiletries. The Salty Monk’s restaurant is decorated with paintings by a local artist. It serves local and homegrown produce, and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Located in the center of Sidford, the hotel is a 30-minute drive from the cathedral city of Exeter. The coast at Sidmouth is less than a 10 minute drive from the property.
