This George V pillarbox was knocked over recently by a clumsy, inadvertant motorist. It isn't being replaced, sadly, so it's definitely "last post" for it.

Sadly, this image seems to sum up the state of our nation. I can imagine that the car which hit it was badly damaged. It would take quite an impact to fracture the cast-iron.
