A short walk will bring you to Bowness and a host of activities on Lake Windermere, where you can also take a trip on the old steamboat, and visit the Steamboat Museum. The World of Beatrix Potter is a popular visitor attraction and a vehicle ferry can take you across the lake to her home at Near Sawrey. 15 guest rooms, include a choice of double, twin and family rooms, with some located on the ground floor.
