About Crompton House

Crompton House is a Victorian built guest house which retains a lot of character, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The guest house is ideally situated in Windermere, midway between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, the number one location within the English Lake District National Park, Windermere. We have 7 guest rooms, all are en suite and non-smoking. We have one four-poster room, one family room and 5 double rooms. In our dining room of character we serve a full grilled English breakfast with a good choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit, and juice from our buffet table. Within easy walking distance there is a host of restaurants catering for all tastes and prices, the local cinema, nightclubs, pubs and shops and the pier at Bowness where you can catch the steamer for a memorable trip upon the lake.
