About Cambridge House Guest House
Situated in the centre of Windermere, in the heart of the English Lake District, this small, friendly and family-owned guest house is built in the traditional Lakeland style. Inspected by the English Tourist Council and Visit Britain for quality assurance (4-star Guest House Award 2007), our small, cosy establishment provides a high standard of service and accommodation for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We take pride in our warm, friendly atmosphere and extra tasty home-cooked breakfasts, whether full English, vegetarian or even a lighter alternative - our aim is to give guests that 'home from home' feel. Enjoying a village centre location Cambridge House offers the ideal accommodation for your Lake District holiday. Only a minute from the numerous shops, restaurants and pubs of Windermere; a mere 5 minute walk from the railway and coach station; and only a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the beautiful Lake Windermere. Although Cambridge House does not have a car park, parking is available on the road.
