Boasting a Yorkshire stoned floor & period designed restaurant where our brand new menu is available Monday - Saturday evening. Our Sunday Carvery is always very popular and a reservation is essential. All of our produce is sourced from local suppliers. We close on Sundays at 5pm after the carvery has finished. Therefore, anyone checking in on Sunday evening after 5pm will have the booking in procedure available to them on arrival. Horseheath is close to the historic market town of Saffron Walden. Audley End House and linton Zoo are also nearby. The university town of Cambridge is a 20 minute drive to the north. To the east lie the pretty Suffolk villages of Clare and Long Melford. Bury St Edmonds, with it's beautiful abby ruins and gardens, is a short drive away. We are also a 20 minutes drive from Newmarket the capital of Horse Racing in the UK. Tattersals Horse sales is also an attraction throughout the year with Sales Dates available from Tattersals direct. We are very easy to find as the property runs along the edge of the A1307 and is just off the slip road for easy access.
