Rumour has it that the King himself became a frequent visitor to the hotel and was known to have entertained the beautiful Lilly Langtry. Secret passages are said to exist between Cadogan Hotel and the King's quarters at Palace House. Kevin and Julie Reed have owned the Cadogan since October 2002 and have undertaken a continual improvement programme. The bedrooms, bar and restaurant have been upgraded with further improvements planned. (These do not take place whilst guests are staying).
