Daoui Abbey Church, Berkshire

The community of Benedictine monks presently at Daoui was founded in Paris in 1645, but moved to Daoui in Flanders in 1818 after suffering greatly during the French revolution. After more troubles during the remainder of the 19th century the community moved to Berkshire. The monks ran a school at Daoui until 1999. The church is a wonderful venue for concerts.
