Helping this site fund itself.

A suggestion that I would like one and all to comment on please.  I am not a techno IT person, but have long wished to create a web site that would help people identify the approximate date of, the location of and subject matter of old photo's.  The two fold problem I have/had was being able to make it pay for itself.  I see the potential of this site offering something along the lines of what I would like to have created and ask the following question:

Would you, if you had an unidentified photograph be willing to make a small payment to the site if you had uploaded it and a member/s had identified it for you?  Maybe an honesty box like system, a small fee of say £1.50 a picture for the service?  It could be run in a separate part of the site so it doesn't clog-up the forums etc.  I for one would willingly pay that, would you?

 Maybe as a newbie I go too far?

Hi again Colin, I think it's a great idea and will pass the suggestion to Chris and Sarah for consideration. However, the one problem I see is the collection of the fee, unless of course it was paid via PayPal as in the case of a donation.
