Hi Lyn, Wales is changing, maybe for the better, I dont know. My grandmothers house that was halfway up a mountain in a graveyard, yes in a graveyard, has gone. It is now a car park. I went up there to relive old memories and had them dashed. The front of the house was on the main road but the rest was in the cemetary. My grandfather was a grave digger and I will tell you a funny story later. I now live in Essex, but Wales will always be my home. You can take the welshman out of Wales, but you cant take Wales out of a welshman.

I think we should encourage you to go home to Wales Peter, it would be nice for you to be able to set up home there once again. Imagine waving 'cheerio' to England as you drive over the bridges that divide us. Think of all the beautiful little Welsh ladies in their traditional dresses, the leeks, the daffodils, the Welsh lamb for Sunday lunch.....it always tastes so much better doesn't it, so much more tender than the frozen meat that we often buy here. Remember the slates on the rooftops, the quaint little houses that seem endless, the little cafe or the fish and chip shop, the seafront.....do you think I've said enough to get him back there yet fellow members? Oh and by the way Peter, please do let us know in the forum here if you do decide to go home, maybe you could organize a few coachloads at the same time, yes please let us know....and then we can 'blow the bludy bridges' boyo! (Alright I'm only joking).

That's got to be hard, not being able to do things that bring you joy. I'm sorry to hear that your body is not feeling as active as your mind obviously is.

Another reason to be thankful to this wonderful site and reminds me to go and make out that Donation to help POE keep this site running.
