Thanks, Cathy!  Life does get in the way sometimes, doesn't it?  I've missed being here.  Been quite busy at work, and I just returned from visiting my mother in Alabama who is recovering from having been attacked and bitten by one of her neighbor's dogs.  She's actually doing very well, considering she could have been killed.  Plucky little woman, is my mother.  She celebrated her 78th birthday on the 20th and is in great spirits, looking forward to getting back to her regular routine.  Hope you all have been keeping well.

Must dash for now, it's time to go home from work.  I'm not looking forward to stepping outside into the oppressive heat!  Hope to chat with you again tomorrow.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for now.

Hi Barbara. Sorry to hear about your Mum but hope she is making a good recovery now. Please pass on the power of POE love and prayers and she will be better before you know it!

Thanks, Ron, I'll do that.  I would have sent out a request for POE prayers but things got a bit hectic, as you can imagine.  I believe in the power of retroactive prayer as well, though.

I kept noticing this picture on the slide show that runs along the top of the page and each time I saw it I felt uplifted by the sight of the girls dancing and playing their violins and looking as though they are enjoying themselves. How lovely to see young people obviously dedicated to what they are doing, not hanging around the streets getting into trouble!
