I can upload to the usual Town or Attraction post but how do I add to this thread please ?  I have not found a way so far of uploading flower photos.

Hi Mick. Copy the picture ID and then scroll down to the bottom of this page where you will find a 'tree' icon. Click on the tree icon and up will come a box in which you copy your picture ID. Then because of a bug we have, delete the last two digits and retype them, click insert at the bottom and bingo!

Thanks Ron, tried copying both HTML and BCC codes but neither work.  It sounds like a simple copy and paste but no joy.  Did say I have problems using computers !

Mick - go to the picture on POE that you want to put in a thread, under the pic you will see an ID number( i.e. ID 1135774).  Note that number down.  Go to the thread you wish to insert the picture in, then follow Ron's instructions.  The "tree icon" is on the right hand side of the tool bar below, next to the smiley!

Hope that we will see your pic in this space shortlySmile

cathyml, problem is the photo is not on POE.  It seems that flower photos cannot, of course, be uploaded to Towns or Attractions.  I understand what Ron is saying but if I delete the last 2 digits it says something like "photo does not exist".  Also should I copy HTML or BCC code ?

Ah!  That is a major problem as only pictures on POE can be added into the threads.

Your own pictures of flowers can be added to POE under the town or attraction you took the photos at.

Only the POE picture ID will work on the insert icon - and when Ron mentioned deleting the last two digits you then need to type them in again.  Sorry it seems to be a quirk or gremlin on the system!
