I have just found this picture in the Latest Pictures section. I can't even put it into words how wonderful this picture is. Can I use it as my desktop/wallpaper please?

The word Awesome is used for everything over here in America, but I believe that now I can use it properly. Peter this is AWESOME!

Now where shall I go next?

Yes I agree, but as to favourite pics, ( and I have picked a few) with so many wonderful photo's on this site, it;s like picking your favourite child.

Suffice to say, this has become my favourite site.Smile

Thanks Ruth....it's Brickyard pond at Broomfleet (which strangely comes out as North Yorkshire on the search, although it's East Yorkshire, sorry POE), a regular haunt for me just because it's such a peaceful place. If, like me, you enjoy seeing birds, butterflies and reptiles, you would enjoy it here too. It's a terrific place to see adders and grass snakes, as well as sedge warblers, terns and cormorants in the summer and fieldfares and redwings in winter. I have also seen many varieties of butterflies and day flying moths here, as well as dragonflies and damselflies.
