Hi all, I am around but just been to France for an hour to make sure Bradley Wiggins stays in yellow in the Tour de France
I also looked for the manual for this cracking little camera and came up with the same link as Cath. It's a 2.5 mb file so will not take long to down load, a bit longer to print unless you have access to a laser printer at work maybe. But it ceratinly looks like a good little toy. As you said earlier Debbie, for now just set it to AUTO and blaze away and you will get the hang of the zoom controls etc. Point it at anything in the house, you don'y have to go outside, you will be amazed once you start playing what fun things you have in the house that you never really noticed before. Set yourself little challenges....kitchen items, bathroom items, cat, dog, family.....loads to be going a. Then when you get out at the weeknd you will have a little better knowledge of where the controls are and what they do. You can't lose now, you have youer camera and card so blast away, drop them onto your PC / laptop and then format the card....doing this with the card 'in camera' is the preferred method. how to do this will be in the manual somewhere. Don't know what size card you have but it will be monety well spent to buy another. On a full batery charge you should get somewhere in the region of 230-240 shots. I note someone has already directed you to a review but here is another one which gives a 'recommended'conclusion

seems to be the same one as you already have
But thats enough for you to digest for now so get snapping and above all enjoy it. I've been doing this for 40 years and still get as much pleasure now as I did when I first started
Excuse the tryping and sellung mistaxe but my fingers and brain don't always coincide
