Sunny and breezy today, 90°F but cooled off nicely as soon as the sun went down.

Please spare a thought and a prayer for the victims of a vicious storm system that went across the southeast US yesterday and today.  I think the last count of the dead was 48.  The storm spawned 62 tornadoes and thousands of people lost their homes.  One man dove into a closet with a 3-month old infant in his hands just as a tornado hit the house.  The baby was sucked right out of his hands, and when the wind stopped, he made his way out of the rubble to miraculously find the baby relatively unharmed.

The weather forecast is for possibly more of the same tomorrow.  So please pray.

The forces of nature!  Very frightening.  From Australia & New Zealand to Japan to the US of A the land is being torn apart by weather!  Will have to start trying to encompass the world in prayer.

We have had rain almost every day for about 10 days now, which (being sunny! South Africa) is most unusual and it definitely looks as though we will get more very soon.
